Spooky season is right around the corner and you know what that means–Luna Park in Coney Island’s annual Halloween Harvest is making its return! Each year Luna Park hosts spooktacular events such as balloon twisting, caricature portraits, trick-or-treating, tractor racing, pumpkin decorating, a pumpkin patch, and more, and it has officially returned for its 11th annual fall season!
“Halloween Harvest at Luna Park embodies our commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests year-round. By extending our season into the fall with themed activities, games and special events we continue a cherished tradition and honor Luna Park’s legacy as a unique place where families and friends come together,” stated Alessandro Zamperla, President and CEO of Central Amusement International Inc., last year of the event.
Since there’s no getting into the fall spirit without delicious fall-inspired treats, guests can visit all of Luna Park’s popular dining spots in between events to indulge in pumpkin spiced funnel cake, spooky churros, pumpkin spiced gelato, pumpkin spiced fried Oreos, and Halloween-themed cotton candy!
And don’t worry, there will be Halloween-themed libations to be enjoyed by adult visitors as well–Salt & Sizzle will be offering a selection of specially crafted cocktails, including the Pumpkin Martini Cocktail, Poison Apple Cocktail, Irish Old Fashioned, and the Jack Daniels Trio Shot Special.
And once again the fun won’t end when autumn does–last year Luna Park announced its first-ever winter holiday celebration, Frost Fest where visitors were treated to a thrilling winter destination boasting an ice skating rink, rides and attractions, holiday lights and décor, holiday shopping, festive food options, the chance to take your photo with Santa, and more!
And Frost Fest will once again return this year beginning Saturday, November 23! Stay tuned for more information.
But let’s not rush things–Halloween Harvest is officially running now through the end of October. Learn more on their Luna Park’s website.
