Even though this past weekend’s weather felt more like summer than fall, it’s officially autumn and that means Upstate NY escapes, pumpkins, and a little Halloween magic.
One charming Halloween near NYC (most known for being home to the Headless Horseman) is serving up one of fall’s best seasonal events for this weekend only, October 2 – 5.
The Sleepy Hollow Glass Pumpkin Patch in Sleepy Hollow, NY is returning again, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most Instagrammable fall events near NYC.
This charming upstate event will take over Kingsland Point Park, just an hour’s drive from the city, bringing one of the most unique pumpkin patches you’ve ever seen.
And let us be clear, this isn’t your ordinary pumpkin patch — this one is made entirely of hand-blown glass.
Artists from the Adirondack Glassblowing Studio and Gregory Tomb Glassblowing Studio will showcase hundreds of glass pumpkins and wearable art, all available for purchase.
Even better, 20% of proceeds go to the Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley Foundation, making it a festive way to support a great cause!

Here’s everything you can expect if you’re making the trek upstate this week! 🎃

- Food trucks and refreshments for the whole family
