The FOX One Chief World Cup Watcher will be revealed live one week before the tournament begins, on Saturday, June 6 during FOX’s broadcast of the Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees.
The role begins on that same night and concludes on Sunday, July 26, one week after the FIFA World Cup Final. Robert Gottlieb, President, Marketing, FOX Sports, stated:
