¿Te apetece un poco de cine de verano bajo las estrellas?

Vale, no un poco, sino mucho. NYC Parks ha presentado oficialmente su querida programación de «Movies Under the Stars» para 2026, y la temporada de este año es más grande que nunca. Desde la primavera hasta el otoño, más de 300 proyecciones de cine al aire libre y gratuitas transformarán los parques de los cinco distritos en cines al aire libre, llevando desde clásicos nostálgicos hasta las nuevas favoritas de la familia directamente a los barrios locales.

Ya sea que extiendas una manta con amigos, prepares comida para llevar para un pícnic al atardecer o revivas tu película favorita bajo el horizonte, la serie anual se ha convertido en una de las tradiciones más entrañables de la ciudad de Nueva York cuando llega el buen tiempo. La programación de este año incluye éxitos de taquilla como Wicked, Encanto, Lilo & Stitch y Dirty Dancing, junto con películas independientes, documentales, proyecciones de estudiantes e incluso una serie de fútbol con temática de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA.

Y en un verano en el que casi todo parece caro, esta sigue siendo una de las mejores salidas nocturnas gratuitas de la ciudad: solo tienes que aparecer, buscar un trozo de césped y dejar que el parque se convierta en tu cine por una noche.
