Eataly’s Rooftop Has Transformed Into A Fantastical Forest Of Fall Foliage

Summer may be over, but the weather is still gorgeous for rooftop festivities and one of the city’s favorite rooftops, SERRA by Birreria, has just transformed into their annual autumn haven: SERRA D’AUTUNNO by Birreria.

With bright fall decor lining the space, the seasonal redesign will take you on a journey through an autumnal Italian countryside.

New dishes will be centered around fall ingredients, featuring a different local farm for each month’s menu, along with seasonal ingredients from the Union Square Greenmarket.

Exciting dish offerings include Fichi e Ricotta with fresh figs, Calabro ricotta, fennel, & grilled housemade bread and Zucca with Stracciatelle e Nocciole with roasted honeynut squash with stracciatella cheese and hazelnut vinaigrette.

As for drinks, you can expect some incredibly cozy cocktail options highlighting fall flavors like cinnamon, crisp apples, & sweet pears. Try their “Zenzero Frizzante” with Portofino Gin, Apple Aperitivo, Borgogno Bianco Vermouth, La Gioiosa Prosecco, & Ginger Syrup, or choose from an expansive selection of refreshing local ciders. You can even create your very own fall-inspired cocktail with Drink del Contadino.

The menu at SERRA wouldn’t be possible without seasonal ingredients from the farms right in Eataly’s backyard,” they said in a press release. “So, this fall, they have partnered with GrowNYC, New York’s premier nonprofit committed to improving the city’s quality of life through environmental programs such as farmers markets, recycling, and education. To support the mission, Eataly will donate a portion of the proceeds to GrowNYC.”
