Introducing *drumroll please…* the croffle!
NYC has made successes out of numerous unique food hybrids like the famed cronut by Dominique Ansel (croissant & donut) to pastrami egg rolls, mac & cheese burgers and more.
And now, there’s a new creation to keep on your radar: the croffle (combining the flakiness of a croissant with the chew of a waffle)—sounds absolutely delicious, right?
This brilliant pastry is most notable as a South Korean treat but has now made its way to Flushing, Queens. Promising layers of buttery goodness with a crunchy exterior, the croffle might just be the newest hit sensation for foodies—a.k.a. everyone in NYC!
Croffle House on 149th Pl is offering more than 10 different croffle variations including strawberry, grape, cheese, basil pesto, sweet potato, Nutella and other delicious flavors! Not only are they mouthwatering, but their presentation is gorgeously photo-worthy.
Along with croffles, the Queens bakery serves up other Instagrammable sweets like mochi donuts and dalgona coffee. Head over to try everything you’ve ever dreamed of eating after seeing it on TikTok!
