If you want to try outdoor dining but are looking for something tucked away from the street, this Brooklyn restaurant might be perfect for you.
Italian restaurant Aurora in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is open for outdoor dining on their sidewalk, but you’ll want to snag seating in the back garden to really feel like you’ve been whisked away from the city.
With a partially covered awning woven with twinkle lights, it becomes a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. But what really makes the place is all of the incredible greenery.
The entire building is actually completely covered in ivy and vines! Take a look here:
Aurora specializes in seasonal Italian dishes and indigenous wines. Just a few pasta highlights from the menu include: rigatoni with eggplant ragù, tomato comfit, and buffalo mozzarella, tagliatelle bolognese with pork and beef sugo, and Grana Padano DOP, and homemade ravioli with ricotta, burrata, morel mushrooms, and chives.
Though you’ll have to forgo the romantic lighting, they are also serving weekend brunch, with options like brioche French toast with vanilla mascarpone, and eggs Benedict with prosciutto and burrata!
Aurora is located at 70 Grand St, Brooklyn. Make reservations on their website here.
