We don’t know about you, but we’ve been going through Bad Bunny withdrawals ever since they swapped out the Calvin Klein ad on Houston. Luckily Benito made an appearance at Monday night’s Met Gala, looking fine as hell, and we can only hope he sticks around NUEVAYoL longer.
In fact, the Reggaeton singer formerly rented a piece of NYC real estate in 2023 that later went on Netflix’s hit show, Owning Manhattan.
Located at 527 W. 27th Street, the massive four-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse had its very own 32-foot private pool and more than 4,500 square feet of outdoor space. Reports show he was shelling out $150,000/month for rent.
According to the Robb Report, its ceilings stretch 12 feet high, countered by oak flooring below. His own primary suite consisted of dual walk-in closets and a private balcony.
The jaw-dropping penthouse was then later showcased on Owning Manhattan, a Netflix show about NYC real estate mogul Ryan Serhant and his firms incredibly luxe listings. Public records show that the sale of Benito’s former penthouse sold for $15 million in May 2024.
Bad Bunny is believed to own or have owned/rented real estate across San Juan, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles, California and Miami, Florida. He was born in Bayamón Puerto Rico and raised in the Almirante Sur barrio of Vega Baja. Since his rise to fame, he’s made it a point to continuously uplift his home island through charity events, grant campaigns, and advocacy and civic engagement.
If you desperately want to see Bad Bunny in concert, you’ll be relieved to know the Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour is kicking off later this year. Unfortunately, he has yet to mention any North American dates—alas, he’s expected to include those cities in the second round of drops.
Until then, you can score your tickets to the Candlelight: Tribute to Bad Bunny. Sony Hall will be washed in flickering candlelight as his best songs will be classically reimagined by a string quartet for an unforgettable night. Guests can even upgrade their concert experience with a three-course prix-fixe menu to enjoy before or during the show.
