A new pricing system is being implemented at AMC theaters, where moviegoers will be charged based on where they choose to sit. ‘Sightline at AMC,’ as it’s referred to in a press release, will allow customers to pay for their tickets based on their seat selection.
Moviegoers can choose between the Standard Sightline Section, Value Sightline Section (front rows) and Preferred Sightline Section (mid-center rows).
Sightline at AMC will be applied to all screenings after 4pm except on Tuesdays.
But don’t fret! With this new tiered seating system, we’re spilling the secret on how you can still score an affordable priced ticket and avoid the extra fees.
By purchasing through Fever, moviegoers will only have to pay a standard flat rate of $12.99. This way, customers won’t have to deal with any new up-charge brought upon by the program.
Fever provides a selection of AMC movie tickets in New York, Chicago and every major U.S. city.
