Why is Vessel in NYC so special?
What immediately sets Vessel apart from the NYC skyline is its striking interconnected architectural style, designed by architect Thomas Heatherwick. He drew inspiration from ancient Indian stepwells in Rajasthan, focusing on the iconic structure to rise toward the sky.
The result is an M.C. Escher-like maze that creates a captivating illusion of endless stairways.
On October 31, the special Candlelight Halloween concert will illuminate the monument with thousands of candles as the Highline String Quartet performs eerie classics like the themes from Beetlejuice, Halloween, and Psycho.
Guests will be able to freely roam Vessel’s platforms and staircases throughout the evening, enjoying the live music from any vantage point.
