One of New York City’s most scenic winter destinations is making its seasonal comeback! Roebling Rink returns to Brooklyn Bridge Park for its third year on Saturday, November 14, 2026, offering skaters panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline from directly beneath the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.
Tucked directly beneath the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, this seasonal ice skating rink transforms the waterfront into a winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, crisp winter air, and postcard-worthy views of the Manhattan skyline. And honestly, with a backdrop like that, even your slightly wobbly first lap feels cinematic.
Whether you’re a seasoned skater or someone who spends more time clinging to the railing than actually gliding, Roebling Rink is one Brooklyn winter tradition worth adding to your seasonal bucket list–because there’s ice skating in New York City, and then there’s ice skating with a Brooklyn Bridge-sized view.

2026 opening day festivities
The rink kicks off the 2026 season with special events and free admission on Saturday, November 14, before operating on a daily basis through January 31, 2027.
Opening day activities include:
- Free admission for the first two sessions of the day (10:30 am–12 pm and 12:30 pm–2 pm) with limited tickets available online
- Educational and craft activities led by Brooklyn Bridge Park educators (11 am–4 pm)

- Holiday movie screenings throughout the day
- A performance and skate session with drag queen and figure skating champion Milk (6:30 pm–8 pm)

The best part: unlike many seasonal setups, Roebling Rink features real ice, providing an authentic outdoor skating experience in the kind of setting that makes you want to romanticize winter in NYC, even when your fingers are frozen and your skating skills are questionable.
