2. Besuchen Sie die Osterparade und das Haubenfestival
Diese alljährliche Parade und das Festival auf der Fifth Ave, bei dem üppige Hauben, Kostüme und Dekoration zelebriert werden, ist seit den 1870er Jahren jedes Jahr zu Ostern eine Tradition in New York. Am Ostersonntag (31. März) sind alle eingeladen, sich um 10 Uhr an der St. Patrick’s Cathedral einzufinden, um die Vielfalt der aufwendigen und prächtigen Kostüme zu bewundern. Die Parade wird bis 16 Uhr auf der Fifth Avenue von der 49th Street bis zur 57th Street nach Norden ziehen. März von 10 bis 15 Uhr werden 50.000 bemalte, mit Süßigkeiten gefüllte Eier auf Governors Island verstreut sein und darauf warten, entdeckt zu werden, um Preise zum Thema Insel zu gewinnen! Die Barnyard Egg Hunt im Queens Country Farm Museum findet sowohl am 23. als auch am 30. März statt und bietet Kindern aller Altersgruppen und Familien einen tollen Urlaub! 6. Springtopia am Seehafen

Kinder unter 12 Jahren sind eingeladen, in den örtlichen Geschäften im East Midtown-Viertel vorbeizuschauen und mit Süßigkeiten gefüllte Eier zu sammeln! 10. Halten Sie an und riechen Sie die Blumen im New York Botanical Garden
Es ist mittlerweile kein Geheimnis mehr, dass wir den New York Botanical Garden und seine aktuelle Orchideenausstellung lieben. Nehmen Sie sich an diesem Osterwochenende etwas Zeit und spazieren Sie über die Kieswege des Gartens, lassen Sie sich von der Blütenpracht verzaubern und schießen Sie hier und da ein Foto.
