Imagine a skyscraper and a theme-park-ride had a baby… now imagine that baby lived on top of Penn Station. The ride, “The Halo”, has been proposed by Brooklyn Capital Partners, a local development firm, and when completed it would be the world’s tallest free-fall ride at 1,200 feet high, and travel at 100-mile-per-hour.
It’s believed that the attraction could attract as many 7.8 million people all paying $35 per-person to ride.
The ride would cost 637 million dollars to build. Whether plans will go ahead of not for now is unclear, but stay tuned to SecretNYC for more on this story in the future.
