Calling all soccer fans. Rockefeller center will be transformed this weekend for a special viewing party of the World Cup, equipped with giant screens throughout the plaza.
Telemundo and NYCFC have partnered up to host a viewing party of the World Cup knockout matches in Rockefeller Plaza. Starting on June 30 until the end of the tournament on July 15, bleachers, a custom-built soccer field and an exhibit showing off a collection of vintage soccer shirts will be hosted in a pop-up-esq environment at Rockefeller Center.
The space will also be hosting a series of soccer based activities like games and clinics hosted by the New York City Football (aka soccer) Club. While the schedule hasn’t yet been released, all the activities will be free.
