Watch An Entire NYC City Block Being Demolished In A 42 Seconds Timelapse

If you’ve passed by Vanderbilt Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Streets in the last year, then you can’t have missed the work going on there. Workers started demolishing an entire city block a year ago to make room for the gigantic new skyscraper, One Vanderbilt. The 65 Story (1.7-million-square-foot) mega structure will open it’s doors in 2020, and is sure to take it’s place among other NYC landmark buildings.

Check out this time-lapse video of a years worth of demolition compressed into 42 seconds.
