Was Staten Island Chuck Right? Are We Really Getting An Early Spring?

It seemed like last weekend’s polar vortex was the pinnacle of winter’s annual cruel punishment for New York City’s heathen ways, but as many of you have probably noticed, the temperature is already going up again. Way up.

Wednesday’s high is in the forties, and this weekend the temperature is going to creep up into the 50s.

Yup, you read that right.

So is that it? Is that all winter had?

Well, maybe not. There are still a lot of days left in February.

We’ll see where the month takes us. But for now, we’ll be dreaming of this:
