It probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise that cyclists in NYC have a tough time getting from A to B with all their limbs still attached. There seems to be an unwritten commandment on the streets of New York: Four wheels good, two wheels bad (check us out with the literary references). And that sentiment is demonstrated perfectly in this footage from Gothamist, the first in a series of videos from the perspective of cyclists in NYC.
On just one trip this daredevil encounters six obstructions in the bike lane, two cars running red lights, one car tailgating and to top it all, the poor guy actually gets hit by a car!
