This was probably the cutest moment of 2016 NYC’s Pride March. In the midst of the noise, color and celebrations, all of the sudden something wonderful happened…
An emergency medical technician (EMT) from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) got down on one knee to propose to another FDNY EMT. Their names: Juliana Arroyo and Erika Marrero.
As friends and family members cheered her on. Marrero held out her trembling left hand as Arroyo slipped on the ring, then the happy couple embraced. The crowd erupted in joy, and passer by can be heard saying “I think that’s a yes”. Check out the video below.
