The weather has been incredibly temperamental this season. Three days ago it was snowing and now NYC is about to break their record for the highest temperature during this time of year.
This week, temperatures are expected to reach a staggering 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
The spring-like weather may reach historic highs for NYC on Feb. 20 and 21.
The spring-like weather may reach historic highs in NYC for Feb. 20 and 21. Until now, the highest recorded temperature for today (Feb. 20) is 72 degrees in 1939, and for tomorrow (Feb. 21) the record is currently 68 degrees reached in 1930.
Today temperatures will likely get into the 60’s. However, tomorrow is expected to reach 70 degrees—which would break the record for the warmest day recorded in NYC history for Feb. 21.
After a couple of unseasonably warm days we’ll be back down to the 40s on Thursday and Friday of this week.
