An Underground Holiday Market Hidden Beneath Columbus Circle Is Now Open

New Yorkers spend a lot of their day underground in the subway, so wouldn’t it be awesome if you could do more than just jump on the soonest train?

Well now you can get your holiday shopping done at Turnstyle NYC’s third annual holiday market, which opened on Monday!

Turnstyle NYC is a full city block of eating and shopping that is completely underground and is connected to the 59th St-Columbus Circle station. There are seven street-level entrances to the market, and you don’t even need a MetroCard to enter.

This year’s holiday market features 18 additional vendors, including:

Hells Kitchen Hotsauce, where you can pick up the most adorable hand-painted “gingerdude” of hot sauce.

New York Makers, which features a curated selection of products made exclusively in New York like piney Adirondack room spray and beeswax candles from the Hudson Valley.

And Salted Baked Goods, which offers gourmet brownies that are the perfect mix of sweet and salty.

The holiday market will run from November 19 through December 31 — perfect for those last minute gifts you inevitably end up buying on your commute!

Turnstyle NYC in general is open year-round and includes 19 food vendors, 10 retail stores, and 10 kiosks. It is located beneath 8th Ave between 57th & 58th Streets.
