A recent study by BuildWorld ranked the buildings with the best views in every country and state.
In order to uncover the iconic structures with the most impressive views, the building experts at Buildworld analyzed TripAdvisor reviews of the world’s most popular buildings to find the ones that tourists flag for the “beautiful views” they offer.
Chicago might be the birthplace of the skyscraper, but The Empire State Building not only ranks as #1 in America for having the best views but also #2 for having the best views in the WORLD.
The study’s key findings showed that right after Paris, France’s Eiffel Tower, The Empire State Building in New York has the most beautiful views of any building in the U.S. (with 4,696 mentions on TripAdvisor).
The Empire State Building has not only the most beautiful view in the country but the widest. From the 102nd-floor observation deck, you can see for 80 miles and across six American states on a clear day.
Coming in the #2 spot in BuildWorld’s Top 10 U.S. Buildings With The Most Beautiful Views list is another classic New York skyscraper – Rockefeller Center’s Top Of The Rock!
Top Of The Rock offers one of the most underrated observation decks for skyline views, including the close-up Empire State Building, around Central Park, and even the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge.
