It has been over 20 years since Tupac Shakur was killed in Las Vegas, this weekend his legacy will be honored with Pop-Up Cafe he designed himself.
Ask any fan, Tupac was more than just a rapper. His legacy lives on as strong as ever, and lucky New Yorkers will have the unique opportunity to go to a cafe he designed himself. Not only will we be able to enjoy a bite, the cafe will be filled to the brim with Tupac memorabilia.
Before the East Coast rappers death, he painstakingly outlined ideas for a cafe where that would be “The perfect hideout 4 those who wish 2 escape the worldz cold reality”
The Powamekka Café will have a home in Sweet Chick, a restaurant on the Lower East Side (178 Ludlow St). The popup will open tomorrow from 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM and be open all weekend.
We’ll see you there!
