Consider your NYC summer booked and busy. If anything convinces you to brave the Midtown crowds this season, let it be this: TSQ Live has announced its massive 2026 summer season, bringing nearly 100 free open-air events straight to the city’s most iconic stage.
We’re talking emerging artists, global sounds, heavy-hitting DJ sets, live dance classes, and surprise performances.
The absolute best part? It’s all completely free.
Each year, the outdoor performance series (hosted by the Times Square Alliance) transforms Manhattan’s pedestrian plazas into a vibrant, open-air festival. And just when you thought the city couldn’t get any louder, this year’s lineup is shaping up to be one of their most exciting yet–so you may want to clear your calendar.
As Joe Papa, Senior Director of Events & Programming at the Times Square Alliance, puts it:
At a time when audiences are seeking more spontaneous, accessible, and immersive cultural experiences, TSQ LIVE offers something increasingly rare in today’s entertainment landscape – live performances without barriers. No tickets. No velvet rope. No traditional venue walls.

2026 TSQ Live Weekly lineup
Now entering its fifth season, the free festival unfolds across a weekly rhythm of live music, movement, and nightlife culture from May straight through September.
