Need an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city? Stop by the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx this week.
The Bronx Botanical Gardens isn’t just a garden but also an educational center and “living” museum with over 7 million plants! Above all, it is a beautiful place to spend the day and relax amongst the flora. With over 250 acres of indoor and outdoor gardens, you can easily find yourself spending a few hours wandering through this urban oasis. Take a walk through the Thain Family Forest, which is open all year round, or learn something new at one of their educational exhibits.
This week is the last week of the Wild Medicine in the Tropics exhibit at the Garden’s Conservatory so be sure to check it out and get a taste of the tropical weather before heading back to real life February weather in New York.
