NYC’s most star-studded festival is officially gearing up for a major return. The Tribeca Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and it’s pulling out all the stops–from buzzy TV premieres and live podcast tapings to a major expansion into the creator economy.
Taking over downtown Manhattan from June 3–14, 2026 the festival (co-founded by Robert De Niro) once again brings together film, television, music, and immersive storytelling–plus plenty of celebrity sightings along the way.
Passes are already on sale, and single tickets drop April 28, so if you’ve ever wanted to attend a premiere before everyone else, now’s your moment.
🎬 Films & Festival Highlights
While the full film lineup is still rolling out, Tribeca remains one of the best places to catch world premieres and indie standouts before they blow up.
Expect everything from boundary-pushing documentaries to future award-season contenders–plus post-screening Q&As with the talent behind them.
📺 TV Premieres You Can Watch First
This year’s TV slate is stacked with major names and even bigger premieres. Highlights include:
- A celebration of the 50th season of Survivor
- The final season premiere of Survival of the Thickest with Michelle Buteau
- FX’s Adults season two, a NYC-set comedy about twenty-somethings navigating life
- HBO true-crime premieres from Ronan Farrow
- A Nat Geo docuseries marking 25 years since 9/11
There are also premieres from Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, and BBC, many followed by live conversations with cast and creators.

Tribeca isn’t just about watching–it’s about hearing directly from the people shaping culture right now.
This year’s lineup includes conversations and appearances from:
- Keke Palmer
- Alejandro Sanz
- Jemaine Clement
- Michelle Buteau
Expect everything from deep-dive interviews to behind-the-scenes conversations after screenings.
🎧 Live Podcasts & One-Night-Only Shows
Tribeca’s podcast lineup is its biggest ever, turning the festival into a live stage for some of the most popular shows right now.
You can catch live tapings of:
- The New Yorker Radio Hour
- On With Kara Swisher
- Radiolab
- Death, Sex & Money
With guests including:
- Peter Dinklage

There’s even a world premiere of Bone Valley Season 5 and brand-new immersive audio experiences.

🎮 Immersive Experiences & Interactive Storytelling
Tribeca continues to push beyond the screen with games and immersive storytelling experiences, blending technology, art, and narrative in ways you won’t find at a typical film festival.
📱 Tribeca NOW: Digital Creators Take Center Stage
One of the biggest updates this year? Tribeca is going all-in on digital storytelling.
For the first time ever, the festival opened submissions to creators on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, making it the first major film festival to formally embrace social media creators.
The expanded Tribeca NOW program includes:
- A showcase of 10 rising digital creators
- A live event with Keke Palmer centered on her platform KeyTV
- The world premiere of new episodes of Kareem Rahma’s NYC-based series Keep The Meter Running
It’s a clear sign that the future of storytelling isn’t just Hollywood–it’s online, too.
🎟️ How To Get Tickets
Tickets for the Tribeca Festival go on sale April 28, and if past years are any indication, the most buzzed-about premieres will sell out fast.
If you’re looking to go big, festival passes are already available, including high-tier options with priority access to screenings, red carpets, and exclusive events (yes, even opening or closing night). T
here are also more flexible ticket packages and lower-cost passes–like weekday matinee access and final-day “best of the fest” screenings–for those who just want to catch a few highlights.
All advance tickets must be purchased online, and you’ll want to arrive early for screenings, especially if you’re trying your luck with standby (aka rush) tickets.
