The snow is here!
A giant nor’easter is rolling through the city and tri-state area, with forecasts of one foot of snow or higher! It began a few hours ago in NYC, and will continue until tomorrow morning, set to be one of our biggest snow storms in years.
Our tagged Instagram photos (don’t miss our stories too!) are proof that many New Yorkers are already having a ball trekking through the snowfall.
Bu, if you don’t feel like braving the cold, or just want a different view of the city, you have to check out this live feed from the iconic Times Square!
EarthCam, which shares live video feeds of locations all over the world, has a live cam set up in one of the most-visited spots in the city, and right now, it looks like a winter wonderland — and New Yorkers are having a ton of fun in the surprise December weather.
You can click around into all different views of Times Square, from the famous TKTS Booth for discount Broadway tickets, to the Pedestrian Plaza, Duffy Square, and along Broadway.
In the view high above the plaza, you can see the storm swirling and how much snow is really coming down! It has totally taken over.
Watch snowball fights, people slipping and sliding, and yes, even snowboarders ready to shred some fresh powder.
