Living in NYC, you’re sure to pick up a few quirks here and there.
So we decided to ask our hilarious and loyal following what common practices they do on a daily basis living in the greatest city in the world. Here are some of our favorites:
1. Continuously jay walk
2. Avoid eye contact
3. Run to catch the train even if you are not in any rush
4. Make sure they have their headphones before they walk out the door
5. Put said headphones on just so people will think you are listening to music and leave you alone
6. Stand at the very edge of the lane in the street at the exact spot you know traffic won’t hit you but so you are ahead of everyone else at the moment you can cross before the light changes and the tourist start to cross
7. Accept the smell of rotten garbage like it’s normal
8. Walk everywhere
9. Cry in the subway
10. Check 3 different apps to see if there are train delays
11. Eat a BEC on hard roll or bagel every morning
12. Run our way home in the street at dark to avoid rats
13. Dodge tourists
14. Make sure that when they walk by garbage bags on the streets there are no rats that will jump out at them
15. Move their car for alternate side
