The people have spoken and Candlelight has answered. Following a series of sold-out performances in Brooklyn, the epic Candlelight: The Lord of the Rings concert is expanding its reach with two newly added stops. Located just under an hour from the city, Westchester County and Jersey City will soon host a talented string quartet as they bring the franchise’s iconic scores to life.
NYC’s spring calendar is officially at capacity, and while there is a final date held for September, these new expansion shows are the best way to secure your seat now without the long wait.

The Sky Room at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City
A completely different type of venue, The Sky Room offers spectacular two-story wall of windows that frame the Manhattan skyline and a cascading ceiling adorned with cylindrical light fixtures, giving every performance a sophisticated atmosphere. Located inside the campus of Saint Peter’s University, the Silver LEED-certified space also boasts excellent acoustics incorporated in its design.
If you’re driving from Manhattan, the drive takes roughly 25–30 minutes via the Holland Tunnel and I-78 W. But for most New Yorkers, the PATH train is way more feasible, stopping in Journal Square. The campus is about a 15-minute walk or a quick bus ride (NJ Transit routes 80, 81, or 125) down Montgomery Street. What’s more, if you already live in Jersey City, the campus is only a 10-minute drive from the waterfront area via Christopher Columbus Drive and Montgomery Street.
