No need to take a trip to England this summer to see some epic Wimbledon matches. Gather in Brooklyn Bridge Park to see The Championships from July 14th-16th!
“The Hill in New York” returns and viewers can watch the final days of the tournament while enjoying British pleasantries in Brooklyn! Guests will be able to enjoy an English Garden Bar and a classic afternoon tea complete with scones and strawberry jam.
Tap into your own competitive spirit with British garden games, a pop-up tennis court and much more! Don’t want to compete? Then dance! There will also be DJ sets and music performances across the three days at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Fans in attendance can also win daily prizes.
Guests onsite will be able to check out the Wimbledon Shop pop-up, which will feature exclusive items such as Championships Towels, Wimbledon headwear, bags, drinkware and much more merchandise.
On Friday July 14, fans can watch the Gentlemen’s Singles Semi-Finals from 7:30 am. Catch the Ladies’ Singles Final on Saturday, July 15 from 8:00 am and the tournament ends with the Gentlemen’s Singles Final on Sunday, July 16 from 8:00 am.
In the 1990’s, watching The Championships on The Hill became a Wimbledon tradition and representation of camaraderie between fans, in England. Now we can enjoy it in this incredible tennis gathering right here in Brooklyn!
NYC can’t get enough of Wimbledon! Last year’s inaugural event saw 6,000 fans and this year’s tennis extravaganza has expanded to accommodate an additional 1,500 fans over the three days.
