Bundle up New York, because temperatures are expected to dip to near-freezing lows this week!
It feels like we’ve jumped straight into winter without much time for fall this year considering our unseasonably cold temperatures lately. According to the National Weather Service’s forecast for this week, temperatures will likely reach as low as 33-degree Fahrenheit by Thursday evening.
Monday morning began in the low 40’s (with a “feels like” temperature in the high 30’s), but will climb to a high of 60-degrees by Tuesday afternoon. However, temperatures will dip again on Tuesday evening and will continue to drop with lows in the 30’s forecasted for Wednesday and Thursday.
During the week you can expect sunny days with a high on Wednesday of 52-degrees, and about 48- to 49-degrees on Thursday and Friday. But you’ll certainly want to keep your scarves and coats on hand for your nightly outings!
