The last year has been exciting when it comes to Target opening more locations throughout NYC. About a year ago you would’ve had to make your way to Harlem to purchase all of your Target necessities because it was the only Manhattan location.
Several months ago a brand new location opened in Herald Square and it’s been quite a success. Now, a few more locations are set to open in NYC (with two in Manhattan) and people are already excited to see the signs of their arrival!
The East Village shop will open sometime in July, and while the space is nowhere near ready people who walk past the area right now will see this:
The first sign of the shop’s existence! It finally feels real and East Village residents can’t wait.

And for those curious, the Target set to open in the Lower East Side (also in July) will be next to a Trader Joe’s and look like this once open at 145 Clinton Street:
