Take A Look Inside The MTA’s Seriously Creepy Haunted Subway
Last week we wrote about the MTA’s initiative to deck out the subway for Halloween and it was actually pretty spooky! Take a look at some of the awesome pics from the event below.

The First Annual Haunted Subway took place last week at the 14th Street/Union Square stop. The MTA, in conjunction with the NYPD’s Transit Unit, transformed the stop into a Halloween inspired horror story, making the subway experience even more horrific than usual! They succeeded in their quest, even scaring some children to tears! Were they training them early for their future commute or just getting into the spirit of the holiday? Either way, they pulled it off and the scare tactics were great:

The NYPD Transit Department also took to Twitter to document the event:

Have your own subway nightmares or horror stories?

If you think your experience can beat getting trapped in a station elevator, submit your story to the New York City Riders Alliance for a chance to win the Worst Commute of the Week Award.
