Parts of the tri-state area may see more than 6 inches of snow tomorrow, while others will have to deal with a particularly slushy commute.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory to New York and New Jersey for this evening through tomorrow afternoon. Snow and ice is expected to fall in the morning on Feb. 7, but will turn into rain during the afternoon in NYC when temperatures rise to a warm 40 degrees.
While NYC will likely only see about 1 to 3 inches of snow early on, places to the north and west of the city will see anywhere from 3 to 6 inches (possibly more in some areas).
Stay dry, NYC.
