This week has had some crazy weather.
After a tornado warning in NYC earlier this week (yes, you read that right), there was actually a bit of snowfall this morning (April 23)!
Though the weather called for rain, it actually snowed lightly from roughly 9am to 10am all over NYC.
A Nebraska meteorologist, after seeing all the New Yorkers Tweeting about the phenomenon, said that the “last time NYC had a trace of snow (flakes in the air, but not measurable) this late in April was 1986.”
Because of weather Twitter, I'm seeing a lot of posts about "omg it's snowing in NYC!"
Because I'm a nerd, I looked up if that's significant. It is.
