Prepare for your Instagram feeds to be overrun by spaghetti donuts and soufflé pancakes, because Smorgasburg, the country’s largest weekly open-air food market is just a month out from returning to NYC. They just announced their 2024 opening dates for its NYC locations, and we’re already salivating.
Smorgasburg first began operating in Williamsburg as a spinoff of Brooklyn Flea. In more than a decade it has expanded further across NYC with a second and third location at the World Trade Center and in Prospect Park. All NYC locations are set to kick-off for a mouthwatering season in 2024 starting this April. See exact dates below.

Though the Smorgasburg website shows that vendor applications are still open, they’ve listed a preliminary lineup, though subject to change, that you can look forward to. Foodies can expect to see favorites like Big Mozz, Bang Cookies, Destination Dumplings, Fluffy’s NYC, Everything Oxtail, Mao’s Bao, Oconomi, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Tang Hulu, Wah Gwaan, and so many more.
Beyond NYC, Smorgasburg also has locations in Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto. It feeds more than 2 million visitors yearly. So get hungry and start counting down the days until its return!
