For the first time ever, New Yorkers can have a bookable overnight experience right in NYC’s iconic Bryant Park this weekend!
And you’ll only have a short chance to try and make it happen.
It’s all part of Booking.com’s “Love Letters To America” series, which hopes to keep America’s love of travel alive even during the pandemic, by “issuing love letters to destinations across the U.S. that have been hard hit by the pandemic while inviting Americans to write their own inspiring love letters to their favorite cities.” And they’re starting off right here in NYC, with a special overnight stay in Midtown’s Bryant Park.
And what will this “Love Letter to NYC” include exactly? Oh, just:
- Custom-designed accommodations in the park’s Polar Lounge (the event space right next to The Rink)
- Hot chocolate and other treats in an igloo
- Midnight ice skating
- Shopping spree at the Winter Village Shoppes
- Room service courtesy of the Bryant Park Grill
What a dream!
Only two of these fabulous stays will be offered (one on the night of February 13 and the other on Valentine’s Day itself on February 14), and will be available to start booking right here on Friday, February 12 at 2 p.m. ET. That’s right, there’s no raffle or contest…you just have to try to book it as quickly as possible on Friday!
And it will only cost you $14.21.
“Booking.com believes in The Big Apple and all the countless businesses that are supported by travel: restaurants, hotels, theatre, entertainment, retail, arts and museums, comedy clubs and more,” they explained in a press release. “New York is just one example of the positive impact the travel industry has on destinations. ‘Love Letters To America’ aims to remind Americans of all the beauty, culture and diversity across the country, and how when the world emerges and travel is back, local communities and industries will be revived.”
