Romer Hell’s Kitchen is extending its hospitality services by sharing missed connections for singles in the city.
An ode to a Craigslist phenomenon of yesteryear, the notes end up plastered on the building’s windows for all of Midtown to see, and we’re totally here for the exposure. (Look, dating in NYC is no easy task, so we appreciate any bit of help we can get.)
Last month, the NYC hotel prompted locals to share their encounters via web. In the questionnaire, those in a state of limerence must identify:
- When the meet-cute happened
- Where in the city it took place
- A description of the person in question
- A description of yourself
- Your email or Instagram handle
Not only are the scenarios hanging on the window, but they’re on the hotel’s Instagram. Even better? Romer promises to “help hook up the perfect neighborhood first date.” So if there’s someone you made eyes with on the F train or a person you regret not chatting with at the bodega, now is the time to reconnect. Who knows where it could lead?
Should you in fact reconnect, be sure to have a look at our favorite first date ideas in NYC to get the ball rolling. Good luck out there, folks! To learn more, visit the hotel’s website.
