The rooftop actually encompasses two two sister buildings of Rockefeller Center, 610 Loft & Garden and 620 Loft & Garden, connected by a breathtaking promenade named The Channel Gardens. Both buildings are an homage to Britain and France, under Rockefeller’s mission to foster a global epicenter in NYC.
620 Loft & Garden is technically called The British Empire, whereas 610 is known as La Maison Française. The Channel Gardens that bridges the buildings symbolizes the English Channel that connects the two countries.
620 Loft & Garden boasts the most incredible views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Prometheus Statue, Radio City Marquee and of course, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. It’s stunning garden and reflective pool offer the most picturesque backdrop for private events that bookable for the venue. Moreover, private events are available for booking year-round as the garden is tented when necessary.
Meanwhile, 610 Loft & Garden is host to a seventh floor penthouse that looks onto the Rockefeller Center Plaza. Though this building also offers a rooftop garden, it’s interior makes it ideal for private events including breakfast or luncheon events and intimate evening receptions.
