Always one to make an entrance, Bad Girl Riri had an out-of-body—quite literally—appearance at last night’s Gilded Glamour-themed Met Gala.
Though the icon herself couldn’t make it to the event, as she is currently in her third trimester, the singer was honored by her very own marble statue.
The statue depicts Rihanna and her beautiful baby bump, posed in the museum’s Greco-Roman galleries after her most recent cover shoot with Vogue.
Though the marble’s videos and images look hyper-realistic, the statue is actually just a digital rendering.
Rihanna shared the statue to Instagram stating, “shut down the met in marble! what’s more gilded than that? Lol! Thank you @metmuseum and @voguemagazine for this historic tribute! y’all bad for this one!”
And though there really is no physical statue of Rihanna herself in the actual galleries, I think we can all agree that she fits in among the goddesses.
