3. Tamashii Ramen, Astoria & Forest Hills
Tamashii Ramen is the king of ramen in Queens! Order one of the most popular dishes, the Miso Ramen, the Shio Ramen made with mineral salt, or the Shoyu Ramen made with soy sauce. Their broth is made daily using a whole chicken and five different vegetables which are simmered together for 14 hours.

4. Tatsu Ramen, East Village
This popular L.A. Ramen joint made its way to the East Village in 2018. Meat lovers, vegan, and gluten-free foodies can all find a hearty bowl of ramen on the menu. All their umami broths are made every day in-house from scratch and take at least 28 hours to complete.

5. Wanpaku, Greenpoint
This Brooklyn hotspot offers Japanese tapas and curry along with homemade ramen. When its brick-and-mortar is open, it also has a speakeasy!

6. Naruto, Upper West Side
Named for the immensely popular manga comic, diner are encourages to wear cosplay at Naruto Ramen. Of course, you can’t do that anymore, but you can still check out their cool decor while you place an order!

7. Ivan Ramen, Lower East Side
We can list Ivan Ramen’s entire noodle menu when it comes to what you should get while there, but if you’re looking for a classic we recommend the Tokyo Shoyu ramen, or if you’re trying to go all out and love garlic the Triple Pork Triple Garlic Mazemen is as indulgent as it sounds.

8. Suki Curry, East Village
This spot is known for its Japanese Curry as well as its ramen. The chef is master “spice expert” Kelly Cho, and the restaurant has been highly reviewed by critics.

9. Tenho Ramen, Murray Hill
This eatery is known for “Tonkotsu” ramen, a type with extra rich and creamy broth made with pork bones. It’s cooked by the “yobimodoshi” method, where the soup pot is never finished–instead it is added to everyday, keeping its flavor.
