Beloved chicken finger chain, Raising Canes, just announced the opening of its second Manhattan location in NoHo. Hungry customers will find it at 20 Astor Place, just steps away from the NYU campus. It officially opened on Wednesday, September 13.
The exciting announcement follows just shortly after the opening of its global flagship in Times Square, which drew more than 10,000 customers on opening day.
The NoHo Raising Cane’s location spans 4,500 square feet of a former Walgreens on the corner of Astor Place and Lafayette Street.
“The opening of our Astor Place location is an exciting milestone as we expand outside of Times Square and into other areas of the city,” said Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves. “We saw great success with our Global Flagship and that showed us that we have incredible potential in New York and beyond. Our NYC Caniacs have long awaited the opening of Astor Place and I’m excited that it’s officially time to open the doors.”
Raising Cane’s has quickly become one of the fastest growing restaurant brands in the country. Currently, there are more than 750 locations across 35+ states. It’s most famous for its deliciously addictive “Cane’s Sauce” that was named the number one most craveable sauce in the restaurant industry.
Be sure to get to the NoHo location early on opening day because 20 lucky people in line will win Free Cane’s for a Year through Cane’s “Lucky 20” drawing. Entries will be accepted from 7:30–8:30 a.m. ET.
If the NoHo location still isn’t close enough for you, don’t worry! The company plans to bring more than 20 locations to the boroughs and greater New York City area within the next few years. Moreover, it’s aiming to become one of the top 10 Restaurant brands in the United States.
