After half a dozen Broadway shows were forced to cancel performances this week due to COVID-19 breakthrough cases in the company, the Radio City Music Spectacular is following suit
After being completely canceled for the first time in history last year — and making a miraculous return this year — the iconic show is being put on hold due to the virus.
“We regret to announce that the four shows scheduled today Friday, December 17 have been canceled due to breakthrough COVID-19 cases in the production. Tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase.”
It comes as NYC’s COVID-19 positivity rate has nearly doubled within three days due to the new Omicron variant.
