We all have some awkward dating stories in NYC, but one New Yorker has turned them into a web comic that will relate to 100%.

You don’t need us to tell you that dating in New York City can be like Game of Thrones, but sadly without the sex. From the games we play to the unspoken rules and crappy outcomes we all have to endure, the trials and tribulations of a single New Yorker aren’t always as unique as we might think.

Samantha Rothenberg is the founder of Violet Clair Design & Illustration Studio. She’s a full-time illustrator, creates web comics, and a has a line of stationery that is sold in stores nationwide. More to the point, she’s single, and she completely understands what it is to be a dating New Yorker.
