On December 16, 2020, a nor’easter hit NYC and blanketed the city in nearly a foot snow—much different than today’s partly sunny skies & high temperatures!
In fact, 2020 proved to be the greatest December snowfall to occur within the last 10 years, reported Spectrum News. And though we’ve had a few flurries this season, we’re still waiting for the city to turn into it’s usual winter wonderland.

Other areas of the state like Poughkeepsie have already reached a record high for today, as the state is experiencing an unseasonably warm December in comparison to years prior.
Such unusual high temperatures are expected to carry on through tomorrow with the weekend dropping back into the 40s and 30s.
