🚋 About the Vintage Trains
IRT Lo-V Nostalgia Train (1917): These cars predate the first pitch at the original Yankee Stadium. With rattan seats, ceiling fans, and drop-sash windows, the Lo-V is a moving piece of history that shows how subway travel used to be.
Redbird Nostalgia Train (1959–2003): Known for its bright red paint and iconic presence on numbered and lettered lines, the Redbird remains a fan favorite. If you grew up riding the subway in New York, chances are you’ve experienced a Redbird firsthand!
So grab your cap, your team spirit, and maybe a soft pretzel or two—because this is subway nostalgia and baseball magic rolled into one. Whether you’re cheering “Let’s go Mets!” or “Go Yankees!” from the platform or the stands, these vintage trains are your ticket to a perfect Opening Day. All aboard for a ride through history, home runs, and pure New York joy! ⚾🗽❤️
