The video was created to bring attention to the 2017/18 season of concerts at 92Y, making an artistic promotional video that uses a familiar videographic technique (time lapse) and gives it a fresh spin.

The videos creators of make New York city into a virtual musical instrument as parts of the city illuminate with the sunrise to the dramatic background classical music.

The video was inspired by the Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky, and his ten piece suite called “Pictures at an Exhibition.” and we guarantee you’ll re-watch it after the first viewing.
