Though NYC has the largest number of subway stations in the world (472 to be exact), we can’t help but wish there were supplementary stations to make traveling between the five boroughs more convenient and accessible to all—I mean have you tried getting from parts of Brooklyn to areas of Queens?! It’s damn near impossible!
Luckily, NYC is in the process of launching the Interborough Express that would alleviate transportation between Brooklyn and Queens. However, even with that route in existence, there would still be other areas throughout NYC that deserve more accessible stations.
What subway stops/stations are missing in NYC?
So we decided to ask our followers via Facebook where they wish additional subway stations would exist if they could choose.
These were some of the most popular answers where additional subways should be added, according to New Yorkers:
- Red Hook
- Greenpoint
- Hell’s Kitchen
- LGA
- Nostrand Avenue
- Parkside
- Brooklyn Manor
- Atlantic Avenue
- Ozone Park
- Francis Lewis Blvd
- Hillside Avenue
- Kings Plaza
- Cross town trains under Central Park
- Alphabet City
