Check out the cutest video you will see this month. A little french bulldog and a tough NYPD police horse meat… and it’s love at first sight. Just try and watch without letting out an audible “awwwwwwww!”
They accuse us if being rude, cold even. They say New York Makes you hard, emotionless. WRONG! You’re about to meet New Yorks friendliest resident; a tiny sandy colored french bulldog.
For a little historical context, this video was originally uploaded in 2011, around the time of the Occupy Wall Street movement. The city was in the throes of one of its largest protests, and for outside observers, it probably wasn’t the friendliest of places, especially if you were one of the 1%. In the midst of all that high emotion a scene of pure joy and friendliness unfolded, and luckily it was caught on camera for us to share with you now.
As a crowd huddles around a brown police horse, a little sandy colored doggo wants to get in on the action. The ‘lil guy wants to see what all the fuss is about. Then, he sees the horse… sparks fly… Gary Wright’s DreamWeaver plays in his tiny canine brain… He jumps around, seemingly trying to get the police horse’s attention. And it happens… Their eyes meet. Of course, the horse is on duty, he has to remain professional, but the feelings there are undeniable. Love wins.
The video, as of today, has had 4.5 Million views. Let’s add one more:
