Love pizza? Then you won’t want to miss out on New York’s largest pizza festival happening this October.
After a successful first run, the New York Pizza Festival is back for its second year on Crescent Avenue in the Bronx. Hosted by the Belmont Business Improvement District, the two-day event will once again showcase the delicious creations by some of the “most renowned U.S. Pizza Makers, Chefs, culinary personalities, as well as top pizza makers from Italy.”
From the best pizzaioli of New York to some of the best from Naples, Italy, you’ll be able to find them all on one block between October 5 and October 6 celebrating their craft with all who attend—and they’re expecting to have a turn out of about 30,000 people over the course of the weekend! The festival will feature tasting from 25 U.S. spots and another 5 straight from Italy, along with plenty of wine, beer, and music to enjoy.
While tickets aren’t necessary to enter the area, you will need them if you want to eat so make sure you get yours ahead of time. The street will be lined with more than 30 pizzeria stations so you’re definitely going to be tempted to chow down. Prices range from $20 for 3 slices and $30 for 6. While non-alcoholic drinks will be available with any ticket purchase, beer and wine options are separate.
