A new book was recently released by photographer Jasper Léonard, New York Resized—and resized it is. New York is known for its large crowds and tall buildings, yet somehow Léonard makes it look like a toy city built for ants.
By using the style of ‘tilt shift’ photography he is able to create these toy-sized landscapes of NYC through blurring parts of the image.
Everything from Chinatown, rooftop pools, full skyscrapers, and even Ellis Island are made to look like miniature replicas of the real thing—except they are the real images. *Mind blown*
This birds-eye view of the New York City will make you feel like a giant.
His book was released on Monday, November 20 by Lannoo Publishers.
